When I look at all the places I have visited over the years as a photographer and content producer, it's sometimes hard to believe that all of it really happened. From game drives in the Okavango Delta in Botswana, helicopter chases trying to film sables and buffaloes for private land owners, to being kicked by a tranquilised giraffe. There are no words to describe how it feels when you know you've nailed that shot. My life is truely enriched every time I pack my gear and head out for the bush: Open spaces, the smells of a thatched roof and rain after a long drought, sun downers on the back of a 'bakkie', the sounds of jackal getting ready for the hunt and the taste of braaivleis around an open fire in the boma. It's me-time. My happy space.
